Non-Electric

Rather than operating off a power source our water softeners work solely through water pressure.

There are no timers or computers to worry about; your water usage alone powers the water softener, removing the inconvenience of manual adjustments and setting.

This means that if you have a power cut or the clocks change you don’t need to do anything!

Timer control water softeners are cheaper to produce; however, the non-electric type are more reliable and last longer

Sustainable energy and no need for a power outlet … (or finding the manual to reset the timer!) – Perfect!

Meter Controlled

There is no need for an electric supply to the water softener thanks to the high efficiency metering.

Our range of water softeners are meter controlled either by displacement meter or turbines. These meters control the softeners operation and registers the water consumption and acts accordingly.

Once the optimal amount of incoming water has passed through the softener and through the meter, it sends water signals to the rest of the machine to control the cleaning cycle.

By using a meter for the overall operation of the water softener, it removes the risk of hard water leaching through into the home but also stops water wastage through unnecessary regenerations if they are not required.

Another key advantage to this type of system is that when they regenerate they use soft water from the secondary cylinder which means no internal working parts come into contact with hard water. This means no scaling of the internal components which results in no servicing being required. The insides are basically protected.

Twin Cylinder

Two cylinders are better than one!

By utilising two cylinders, the water softeners are fundamentally able to do two things at once.

They can provide you with luxurious soft water all day on demand but will also regenerate whenever it needs to according to your exact water usage.

The cylinders work independently of each other, so whilst one cylinder goes offline temporarily to carry out a regeneration cycle, the other cylinder continues producing soft water.

One of the key advantages to this type of system is that when they regenerate they use soft water from the secondary cylinder which means no internal working parts come into contact with hard water. This means no scaling of the internal components which results in no servicing being required. The insides are fully protected from the hard water minerals in the hard water.

Simply put, a twin cylinder system means you will have top quality uninterrupted softened water all day long, every day regardless of your water consumption.

Block Salt

There are 3 types of water softening salt: Tablet, granular and block.

Tablet and granular salt is supplied in awkward and heavy 25kg sacks, which are not only backbreaking but difficult to store too.

Block salt on the other hand is much more convenient to lift, store and load into the water softener.

The small 8kg packets contain 2x blocks (4kg each) and simply slot into the front of the water softener.

The blocks also have specially moulded finger grips to make loading the salt in as easy as possible too.

Another feature is the salt compartment’s clear lid.

This feature means you can easily see if you need to replace the salt by taking a quick glance.

As well as the clear lid there is also a guideline inside the salt chambers which indicates there is enough space to comfortably load another pair of blocks and fit the lid on.

Compact

The beauty of both our water softeners is the size.

The small and compact dimensions mean finding a location for installation is much easier.

At less than 50cm high they can fit perfectly under the kitchen sink.

The neat narrow cabinets make slotting in between sink waste and the other plumbing connections a lot easier, too.
